"I joined Misys Sophis in 2004. Having completed my studies at Ecole Polytechnique, I was looking for a first job combining strong quantitative skills and human contact in a dynamic environment.
I started as a front office consultant in Paris, involved in pre- and post-sales activities with a portfolio of continental European clients.
It was a great opportunity to learn about financial products and bank organisations.
After two years in Paris, I was offered a move to London as a senior consultant. One year later, I was promoted to manager of the RISQUE Professional Services team in London. The team works with our investment banking clients in the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.
This promotion has brought new challenges for me both in terms of client responsibilities and team management. My tasks include the organization of the day-to-day support, client project management and conducting development partnerships on strategic new modules as well as demonstrations on prospects.
Along with my services work, I am actively involved in public relations activities for Misys Sophis, and act as the company's spokesperson on equity and credit derivatives topics. This enables me to follow the evolution of the financial markets and to feed back that insight to our software developers."
