Misys Sophis' architecture manages permissioning systems and flow control. Our solutions are certified with Reuters Open DACS, Bloomberg Server API and Data license, as well as with Markit data services.
At the front office level, several connections to OMS and EMS are delivered and maintained. This allows Misys Sophis users to generate their orders from the GUI with the right allocations. Trades captured and returned executions from external OMS and EMS are inserted automatically in the Misys Sophis application which creates and updates the instrument characteristics in the security master at the same time.
At the middle/back office level, Misys Sophis applications are connected natively to matching systems and provide over 100 out of the box reconciliation formats across assets with prime brokers and administrators.
All of these connectivity features reduce manual middle office work and limit operational failures considerably. Quality and accuracy of data are strengthened for an effective true STP flow.
