A full implementation of VALUE can be done either in a full Windows environment (Servers and client desktops) or in a mixed UNIX (for servers) / Windows (for client desktops) environment.


Database
VALUE relies on Oracle.


Architecture
VALUE relies on CORBA for distributed architecture, offering high scalability, supporting large trading volume, fast calculation and ensuring maximum security and reliability of data flows.
Most important, users can benefit from CORBA advantages without any specific skill. Indeed, CORBA is totally transparent to users.

VALUE is built in a n-tier architecture ensuring reliability and easy maintenance thanks to compartmentalisation and greater scalability.

Web Services
VALUE can be installed with XML Gateway, which enables to interface and communicate with Web Services.


Languages
VALUE is developed in C++. This programming language ensures the highest computing performance of financial calculations. C++ also provides great flexibility to the system via the Financial Integration ToolKit.

VALUE is also compatible with .net platform, which means that it is possible to develop in C# with the Toolkit.


Data exchange
XML This standard data format is highly used within VALUE for data description, transformation and exchanges. It is especially used for the reporting facilities of VALUE.

FIX
VALUE is compatible with FIX engines.


GUI
VALUE front-end is fully integrated into the MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) environment.
